The Aikido school “Aidas” began its activities in 2006. Its goal is to create a suitable atmosphere and favorable conditions for those who want to practice Aikido and learn about this martial art. The school was founded by a group of enthusiasts who have been practicing Aikido since 1998, and currently, training sessions for children, youth, and adults are led by experienced teachers and instructors from the association.

The Aikido school “Aidas” practices Aikido Aikikai, which center is based in Tokyo, Japan. It is currently led by Doshu Moriteru Uesiba. Every year, members of Aidas participate in international Aikido seminars in Lithuania and abroad, as well as various demonstrations and festivals.

The teaching methodology and certification system of the Aikido school "Aidas" is officially recognized by the World Aikido Center, Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan.

The qualifications of instructors at the Aidas Aikido School are certified by the Department of Physical Education and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.

The children's education program at the Aidas Aikido School is an accredited non-formal children's education program, and those who attend Aikido classes here are eligible for the NVŠ student grant.
